To provide a positive choice for online shoppers; A choice to buy 'green' and buy from small businesses that would not normally be found online. Research shows that people would choose to buy 'green' products, if it was made easier for them; so here's an opportunity! A collection of green products, brought together to form a 'green marketplace'.

To help small, 'green' businesses get their products online. I like buying from small businesses, rather than large, often global companies whose focus is profit or shareholder returns. I find that small businesses focus on the quality of their products, and the way they do business. This marketplace gives these 'green' businesses the opportunity to sell online without having to invest in e-commerce.

OK, so what is 'green'? Well to me, anything that makes a difference towards helping our planet becoming more sustainable. Still a bit woolly? OK, well I think a good starting point is products that are natural, recycled, organic, sustainable or eco-friendly.
