Trader informationThe Crazy Card Corner was set up to combine my photographic artwork with cards that have that eco friendly touch! The normal greeting cards are made from 50% recycled paper & 50% silk to retain a high quality print. The seeded cards are made from 100% recycled paper. They have an overview of planting instructions on the back of the card, however the following provides further information in more detail if you wish to know more! SEEDED CARD INFO: CARDS MADE FROM: The seeded cards are made from 100% re-cycled paper and printed using soy-based inks, organic pigments; which is an environmentally friendly water based ink. The cards actually grow into flowers when planted! The seeds are a mixture of annual and perennial wild flowers, which are normally very easy to grow. PLANTING INSTRUCTION: Thoroughly soak the paper/card. Prepare a seed tray (a tray with drainage holes for any excess water) put in some soil, place the paper/card on top and then cover with a thin layer of soil. Keep evenly moist until seedlings are established. Further watering may be required if indoors. SOW INDOORS OR OUTDOORS: Indoor planting can be done at anytime of year and shoots should appear within 2-3 weeks. Plenty of day-light required. Outdoor planting is not recommended until the Spring when they can be sown straight into the ground. Some seeds vary on when they will grow. WHEN TO EXPECT FLOWERS: Flowering can vary depending on the time of year the seeded paper is planted: Flowering can be expected mostly in spring and summer. Annual and perennial flowering; therefore some will flower the first year and some the second year. A guaranteed that your card will grow cannot be given, however if you have followed the above instructions there shouldn’t be a problem. WILD FLOWER SEEDS: The cards have a mix of the following seeds embedded: Catchfly (Silene Armeria), English Daisy (Bellis Perennis), Sweet Alyssum (Lobularia Maritima), Spurred Snapdragon (Linaria Maroccana), Corn Poppy (Papaver Rhoeas), Black Eyed Susan (Rudbeckia Hirta) After you enjoy your greeting card ... enjoy planting and watching your flowers grow!
