It is handmade and doesn’t contain any chemicals as we use only unbleached cotton and is very easy to write on. The paper is made by charity in rural Rajasthan that promotes women’s education and their social standing in the rural villages.Each leather journal has been carefully and expertly stitched around the outside to give a more intrepid feel.We are a fair trade company and regularly visit our suppliers to ensure the highest standards are met. We quality control all our products to ensure that you only receive the best products.We pay our suppliers 50% upfront and send money to them whenever they need it. We never send anything back or not pay for damaged goods. We use a bonus system for the staff and they can earn up to 5% of our total order value which can give them an extra month’s wages per year.The leather has been tanned by our suppliers using a natural dye and the put together using a mixture of love, contemporary and traditional skills.These journals have been expertly crafted with the pages hand stitched in and are ideal for travelling and perfect for just doodling or diary writing.
