Delivery is included in the cost of the item. 

Items are dispatched as soon as possible, usually within 1-3 days of order. This method is 1st Class Recorded Delivery with Royal Mail. If you require an urgent delivery please contact us when ordering and we will do our best to meet your requirements. 

 All our jewellery is wrapped in recycled tissue paper. It is always packaged as if for a gift using old ribbons or old end of line ribbons. We always recycle other packaging when possible.

Uncommonly Beautiful Recycled Accessories is an anti-land fill fashion accessory label and was created by designer-maker, Kirsty Kirkpatrick in June 2006.

Kirsty trained as a textile designer at Duncan of Jordonstone School of Art and Design in Dundee and Graduated with a BDes(hons) in Constructed Textiles. She later studied at Central St Martins in London, graduating with a Postgraduate Diploma in Textile 4 Futures.

Her fashion accessory pieces demonstrate an imaginative approach to transforming waste into something covetable and unique. Using found furniture and recycled materials, the label creates beautiful products from the overlooked.

‘One off’  and limited edition pieces are made from waste furniture, clock parts, suitcases, scrap leather from the upholstery industry, broken jewellery and gift wrapping. Uncommonly Beautiful Recycled Accessories are unique items that don’t harm the Earth and Kirsty hopes that her work will provoke people to look at waste materials in a different light.

We aim to provide fashion that challenges the waste of the fashion industry while providing an environmentally and socially conscious alternative to high street ‘carbon’ cut outs. As designers we provide an alternative to globalized manufacturing.
