Paper High specialises in unique, fair trade, Eco friendly and ethically made handmade paper notebooks, journals and photo albums. These are covered in a variety of designs such as colourful sari fabrics, leather, banana fibre and our popular elephant dung paper!

All our products are hand made to the highest quality and conform to fair trade guidelines. We have been members of BAFTS (British Association of Fair Trade Shops) since 2002.

All our papers and products are tree friendly and made from sustainable resources. Each book is unique; the pages can be plain or have a splash of petals.

Our Sri Lankan Elephant dung paper is made by the elephant! Depending on their eating habits the paper is either rough or smooth. They are made at the Maximus Elephant conservation trust next to the Millennium Elephant foundation in Sri Lanka, which is a registered charity and care for the sick and disabled elephants.

We also sell a range of fun felt products, all handmade in Nepal by a company driven by fair trade principles, these include, brooches, hair bands, creepers and our popular children’s hand puppets.
