We have 3 logstores in a range made for us by the charity Pathway. The wood used in these log stores is from a 100% recycled source.

A basic and simple log store with large slats that allows maximum air flow through the logs and helps avoid the problems of lighting wet timbers. We offer this logstore in three sizes, however, if you have a need for a wider or deeper log store please call or email with your requirements and we will be happy to make you logstore to your exact requirements.

The image shown is of a 4 foot 'untreated' version without any colour options. You can receive it like this or you can have it painted with a wood treatment. Any colour from the Cuprinol range. This will be an additional £40, please call or email us to discuss this option before placing your order.

The timber used to make the log store is recycled virgin high quality FSC approved wood that would otherwise go to landfill. It also comes from sustainable forest sources (mainly Scandinavia). The wood has been pressure treated for the building industry. As the log stores are hand-made quality control is rigorously maintained so you can be assured that you are receiving along lasting log store.

This hand made heavy duty log store will keep those logs dry ready to make a cosy real log fire, it is exceptional value for money. It pays to store your logs is a well designed log store so they dry out to give a cleaner and more efficient burn. For example, wood burning stoves ideally need wood with a moisture content below 25% otherwise they can lose as much as 80% of their efficiency in terms of heat generation. Wood with a high moisture content also gives off much higher levels of smoke/pollution which is more damaging to the environment and reduces the life expectancy of your flue. Burning dry wood gives efficient, cost effective heating with wood burning stoves, or any type of wood burning, and is carbon neutral.
Reclaimed Timber Log Store

The depth of the logstores is 2 feet and the height is 4 feet 6 inches. We are able to offer this log store design in three width sizes; 2, 4 or 6 feet wide. Simply choose the option you require from the drop-down menu below.

Pathway Workshop is a registered charity for productive employment and training for disadvantaged adults between 16 and 80, with both physical disabilities and those with learning impairment. Pathway Workshop seeks to improve the job prospects of people with disabilities, and those who may be disadvantaged in today's labour market.

Either use the Wood Store for pre-dried timber to keep it dry, or to season your own wood. It has been designed to encourage nature to naturally dry freshly sawn timber as quickly as possible. Dependent upon the wood type, diameter and length, and whether split or not split, this process can take anywhere between six and twenty-four months (the longer the better). If you have more than one wood burner, or you get through a lot of logs, you can easily use one (or two) Log Stores for wood to use now, and another to store wood seasoning in preparation for next year.

The log stores are delivered flat pack with all fixings and comprehensive instructions. The back, sides and base are all pre-assembled. All holes are predrilled for easy assembly. All you will need is a screwdriver, preferably a cordless one and another pair of hands to help move it into place.

Delivery for the log store is normally within one week, however, due to the nature of the timber's source this can sometimes be extended by a further week.
