Founded in 1997 , Rene´Geneva Design, LLC holds environmental and social responsibility in the highest regard.
We offer designer eco-friendly women's clothing, Green Bridal - including organic wedding and bridesmaid dress, eco-chic organic
clothing, high-fashion hemp apparel, certified organic cotton jersey dresses, bamboo fashion, and peace silk clothing.
All of our fabrics are organic, eco friendly, and dyed with low-impact dyes. No Sweatshops are used! We make our clothing in
the USA and we also work with Fair Trade Labor in developing countries to provide "Sweat-Free" clothing. We even work with
indigenous cultures and small villages globally to bring you unique organic women's clothes that use their traditional textile
methods, including hand spun and hand woven SKAL certified organic cotton, peace silk (where the silk is cultivated
after the moth's hatch from the cocoon). Soy clothing uses only non-GMO soy (or not genetially modified Soy) and we use
only formaldehyde-free silk. We utilitze renewable resources by using fabrics such as Bamboo and Hemp for our women's
clothing, bridal, and eveningwear. Our personal and affiliates work tirelessly to ensure that our hemp fabric comes from small,
organic farms and all of our fabric is spun with fair trade labor.
We are the only high fashion design house that offers the Fashionably Neutral Carbon Program (tm) which certifies each
garment as Carbon Neutral and offers truly carbon neutral clothing as a result. A portion of your purchase supports this effort,
as well as ourScraps for Schools(tm) program, which recycles fabric scraps for children's art projects. We are working on the Sun
Power Project (tm) which facilitates the installation of solar electricity into a women's sewing cooperative in Central America.
We use windpowered webhosting, have a bio diesel car (VW Golf TDI.. highly recommended, 47MPG!!), and use eco friendly
printing with recycled paper, paper made from Elephant Dung, and soy inks. We are a proud member of Co-op America.
Our eco-chic and eco-friendly women's apparel has been featured on the runway at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in
Los Angeles, in California Apparel News multiple times, Yogi Times LA, Rare Magazine, Tree Hugger, Austin Monthly,
KXAN NBC News, Idea Bright, and Dwell Magazine.
