Beautiful and unique, each journal notebook is handmade in India from recycled sari material. The journal notebooks have been designed by Paper High and a small family business in Rajasthan, Western India.
The recycled journal notebook's handmade paper is very easy to write on and very smooth. The handmade paper is made from unbleached recycled cotton left over from the massive Indian garment industry. The handmade paper is produced in a small paper workshop by a charity that is committed to social responsibility through education, especially directed towards woman in rural Indian villages.
It is one of the few cultures left that continue to make handmade paper keeping traditional paper making skills alive in an increasingly industrialised India.
