The startmonkey200 can restart a standard 12v battery between 15 and 20 times on
a full charge thanks to its High Energy Dynamic Polymer Battery and it is packed
with high-tech safety features to give you total peace of mind. Simple and quick to use, the startmonkey200 easily attaches to your car battery via the crocodile clips and in 8 seconds, is ready to give you a jumpstart when you need it most.
Its compact design means it can be left in your glove compartment or boot until it is
needed. Thanks to its low static waste, the startmonkey200 will still retain 75% of its
charge – even after one year without use. Once used, the startmonkey200 can be recharged using the supplied in-car charger. The startmonkey200 can also be charged by Powertraveller’s powergorilla and solargorilla portable chargers. The startmonkey200 not only jump-starts your car but can also be used with all your in-car 12v devices such as Sat Navs using the DC outlet and the supplied female cigarette lighter socket. startmonkey200 is suitable for vehicles using 12v batteries up to 650 CCA (Cold Cranking Amps), you can check your cranking amp rating by checking the sticker

Each kit contains:
1 x startmonkey200 unit
1 x pair of flexible cable (12AWG 200º C); black ‘-’
negative 45cm and red ‘+’ positive 50cm with
insulated metal battery clamps
1 x in-car charger
1 x female cigarette lighter socket
How to use the startmonkey200:
• Refer to your vehicle owner’s manual to locate the battery or jump-start terminals
• Ensure startmonkey200 has at least 50% charge; and check that the battery is 12v. If the battery is not 12v, the startmonkey200’s auto-on will not engage
• Attach the black crocodile clip to the – terminal or to the vehicle bodywork if this is the earthing point (please refer your owner’s manual)
• Attach the red crocodile clip to the + terminal. This lead is longer as the + terminal will be further away from the bodywork of the vehicle
• Providing the battery is 12v, the startmonkey200 will automatically switch on and the array of green LEDs (1) will flash continuously
• Leave the startmonkey200 attached to the terminals for 8 seconds and ensure the unit is securely positioned using the magnetic strip on the back of the unit
• With the unit still attached turn the vehicle ignition as normal
• Once the vehicle has started the startmonkey200 will automatically switch off. This is confirmed by the green LED no longer flashing
• If the green LED continues to flash the unit will need to be switched off manually by pressing and holding the on / off button (2) for 3 seconds
• Remove crocodile clips and store unit back in the box
