We endeavour to dispatch your products as soon as possible and normally this will either be same day or next day depending on order volumes. If you require a specific delivery time/date, please use the preferred delivery date whilst checking out.

We are also able to ship on a worldwide basis and if you require international delivery to be organised, please either phone us or email us at and we can quote you for the necessary delivery costs.

Please note that deliveries are free on all orders over £15 to customers on Mainland UK. Orders below £15 will have a £4.50 delivery charge applied.

In order to help us organise a smooth delivery of your purchases, please
will you leave an instruction in the ‘Customer Notes’ box about your wishes
if you happen to be out when the delivery arrives. As the carrier will only
take an instruction if it is printed on the label by us.  Unfortunately
because of this, any ‘please leave...’ type of instructions will be at your risk.

Should you not be at home when delivery is attempted, the carrier will attempt
delivery and leave a card twice. If there is no response to the cards, the carrier
will then contact us, charging an extra £3.00. If a third attempt is unsuccessful
the parcels will be returned and any extra charges will be payable at cost by
yourself, the customer. 

The Recycle Works Limited was established in 1995 by Sylvia Hopwood. The Company set out to address the matter of recycling within the family and in particular recycling Organic Waste. Separation of Organic Waste prevents poisonous Leachate and Monoxides from forming when in contact with the various metals in the waste stream. The Scientists do not really know, but these poisons may contaminate the earth for hundreds of years.

We are fortunate to live and work in a beautiful part of the country in the Ribble Valley and on the doorstep of Britain's only European Designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Forest of Bowland We are also particularly aware of, and only buy raw materials with accreditation to Fair Trade, FSC wood, and sourcing of European woods from well managed and sustainable forests.
